Reduce the risk of further problems

Some people can experience difficulties with routine tasks including daily living activities. Foot and ankle problems can come and go without any prescribed treatment, and/or can respond well to self-treatment for most people. If not addressed rapidly enough, these musculoskeletal problems may be progressive, lead to long-term pain, and may ultimately require surgery. Having a Biomechanical assessment can help understand the problem and see what treatment is necessary.

Both physical inactivity and obesity can be influenced to improve lifestyle and reduce the risk of further musculoskeletal problems and improve the prognosis of foot and ankle pain.

Thorough assessments

A thorough assessment will examine the way your lower limb functions to check for abnormalities and possible causes of foot pain. If recommended, a range of orthotics are available for purchase including bespoke orthotics if appropriate.

Common foot problems:

– Heel pain
– Osteoarthritis
– Inflammatory conditions (i.e., Rheumatoid arthritis)
– Big toe pain
